SUMMARY

WHAT: A digital tool that makes your everyday living easier and funnier.

WHY: Our phones are constantly distracting us from things we need to do. They make us prioritize the wrong things, procrastinate or even forget the more important stuff in our everyday life.

ASSIGNMENT: Bachelor's Degree thesis.

GO! is your very own planner, making it fun and motivating to prioritize better.

 

This is what it looks like when you open it, giving you a nice daily overview.

As a parent or adult you get an additional icon in your menu, allowing you to create task, set rewards and verify others completed tasks to keep the game fair and square!

 

As a kid you don’t need to worry about all this boring stuff. Just focus on completing your task to win the rewards!

LEARNING ABOUT:

A big part of this project was learning about this new field of design that I’ve never worked with. Reading and practicing UX and UI design was in itself a big challenge with all the new methods, laws and rules I’ve never heard of before.

Complete the tasks! It can be anything, everything from making the bed to remember that Zoom meeting with your friends. You’re the boss, you decide the tasks!

Every game needs a leaderboard to keep up the fire! By finishing your weekly tasks first, you get a reward for that week!

 

By finishing first one week, you get 1 point for the monthly leaderboard where the reward might be something bigger!

 

If you score the same, enjoy the reward with that player!

A/B TESTING

I learned about A/B testing and used it in my progress to decide how me and my group of potential users wanted the app to work and look like.

 

Together with answers from a survey, interviews and observation I could form a digital product prototype.

Let your team players know that they need to do a task by sending them a reminder.

 

Here we can see your own reminders, and then how it looks like when you want to send one, or two, or three.

Rewards could be weekly, monthly, personal and also collective.

 

When it comes to the collective reward, those reminders could come in handy!
